The residence at Sathorn was designed to be a home for a newlywed couple in their 20s, with the focus on utilisation of wooden materials as a principal in creating a cozy yet modern home. The outcome exploits a variety of wooden touch, from matte finished teak flooring, to walnut dining table and oak coloured laminated cabinets. Contrasted by Black India granite top and highlighted by blue seating cushions.

The design aims to celebrate the communal areas such as the kitchen and living-working room allowing connection between the two adjacent spaces, making it an ideal for an intimate gathering. The two spaces flow into each other, merely segregated by a black aluminium framed sliding glass door allowing visual transparency. The mix between simple, modern materials and antique furniture and cabinets brings balance and vitality into the space.
