เกี่ยวกับ “การเดินทางของลินด์เบิร์ก”
การแสดง "Lindbergh's Flight" (การเดินทางของลินด์เบิร์ก) เป็นบทละครที่เขียนโดยเบอร์โทล์ด เบรคท์ ในปี 1929 เล่าเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับการออกบินเดี่ยวข้ามมหาสมุทรแปซิฟิกครั้งแรกของมนุษยชาติโดยนักบินนามว่า ชาร์ลสฺ ลินด์เบิร์ก
เวอร์ชั่นนี้ เรื่องราวของเขาจะถูกนำมาสร้างสรรค์ใหม่ในรูปแบบของการแสดงร่วมสมัย โดยการร่วมมือของศิลปินไทยและญี่ปุ่น ผู้มาจากต่างสาขาไม่ว่าจะเป็นสถาปนิก นักดนตรี ศิลปินทัศนศิลป์ ภาพเคลื่อนไหว ละครเวที ฯลฯ ในนามว่า Gecko Parade and Co.
การแสดงเรื่อง "Lindbergh's Flight" จะจัดแสดงภายในอาคารสลัว โปรเจ็กต์ ผู้ชมจะเดินทางรอบอาคารเพื่อติดตามการเดินทางของลินด์เบิร์ก และอุปสรรคต่าง ๆ ที่เขาต้องเผชิญระหว่างทางสู่เป้าหมาย

English: "Lindbergh's Flight" by Gecko Parade and Co. [work in progress] - A trans-architectural journey - The Japan Foundation, Bangkok and Slure Project proudly invites you to encounter a new experience and perspective towards space and art forms via the imagination of a theatre performance. *This will be a work in progress performance, staged in order to experiment and exchange ideas with audiences for the full performance in the future.* About “Lindbergh’s Flight” “Lindbergh’s Flight” is a play about the first solo transatlantic flight by Charles Lindbergh written in 1929 by Bertolt Brecht. In this version, we will create a contemporary performance with Thai and Japanese artists that come from different contexts, such as theatre, moving image, architecture and visual art - under the collective name of Gecko Parade and Co. “Lindbergh’s Flight” will be performed in Slure Project. The audience will follow Lindbergh’s journey through the entire building witnessing the difficulties he experienced while trying to reach his destination. Performance dates/time: Thursday 12 March 2020 7:00 PM Friday 13 March 2020 7.00 PM Saturday 14 March 2020 3 PM, 7:00 PM (Registration starts 30 minutes before performance time.) The performance will be performed in Thai and Japanese with translations. As a way of gathering feedback for the work-in-progress creation, we will have a casual conversation among audiences and artists after the performance. **Due to space capacity and the widespread of COVID-19 situation, we will have to limit audience capacity to 10 people per performance.
